Housing Estate Barnsley

Overview: Undertaken in Barnsley, this project involved overboarding walls that previously housed trash chutes. The task required meticulous application of fireboard using dot and dab techniques, followed by masticking and decoration to ensure a seamless finish.

 

Scope of Work:

• Wall Overboarding: Overboarding was carried out on over 20 walls, necessitating precise application of fireboard to cover the areas previously occupied by trash chutes.

• Dot and Dab Technique: The fireboard was applied using dot and dab techniques, ensuring secure attachment to the existing walls.

• Masticking and Decoration: Following the overboarding process, masticking and decoration were undertaken to achieve a smooth and visually pleasing surface.

 

Outcome: The successful completion of overboarding on numerous walls in a short timeframe demonstrates our efficiency and commitment to quality. By transforming the spaces previously occupied by trash chutes into seamless and aesthetically pleasing surfaces, we have contributed to the overall improvement of the building.
