Owston Primary School (visit 2)

Overview: Returning to Owston Primary School, our task was to remove a large glazing unit and replace it with an insulated metal stud wall, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. Additionally, we aimed to seamlessly integrate the new structure with the existing surroundings through careful painting.

 

Scope of Work:

• Glazing Unit Removal: We carefully removed the large glazing unit, prioritizing safety and precision to avoid any damage to the surrounding area.

• Insulated Metal Stud Wall Installation: Installing the insulated metal stud wall involved meticulous planning and execution to ensure structural integrity and compliance with fire safety standards.

• Fireboarding for Compliance: Fireboarding the new wall was essential to meet safety regulations, providing an additional layer of protection in case of fire.

• Painting to Match Existing Walls: To achieve a cohesive look, we painted the newly installed wall to seamlessly blend with the existing walls, ensuring a uniform appearance throughout the space.
